Beta Club Convention 2016

December 19, 2016
By TCS

Our students recently attended Florida's Beta Club Convention at the Renaissance Sea World in Orlando, Florida.  TCS received many accolades and awards.  All of the students who attended the convention had to participate in at least one academic event and one engineering and/or arts event.  Over 2,000 Jr. Beta Club students from all over the state of Florida attended this event.

The National Beta Club (often called "Beta Club" or simply "Beta") is an organization for 4th through 12th grade students in the United States.  It's purpose is "to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among elementary and secondary school students."  The State Convention is a venue where students can compete and be rewarded in the areas of academics, engineering, and talent (visual and performing).

Congratulations to all of our participants who did an outstanding job.
